The second series of I'm a Celebrity... South Africa began airing this week on Monday April 6, and it's already making waves. Familiar fan favourites Gemma Collins and Craig Charles have recently entered the camp as late arrivals, and ITV viewers have already been left fuming over Sinitta's 'ride' remarks about Gemma Collins' career.
Alongside Gemma, Craig and Sinitta, other celebrities featuring in this series include Adam Thomas, Ashley Roberts, Beverley Callard, David Haye, Sir Mo Farah, and Scarlett Moffatt. Yet despite boasting a stellar cast, hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have revealed there are some celebrities you'll 'never see' on the show.
Ant and Dec haven't officially "banned" specific celebrities from I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, but they have light-heartedly named high-profile figures who 'won't be seen' on the programme and have publicly called for certain types of people to be excluded.
In late 2024 and 2025, Ant and Dec responded to viewer suggestions for future contestants by firmly ruling out two enormous names.
The first was Hollywood superstar Ryan Gosling. When a fan put forward the Hollywood star's name, Ant joked that even if his career "dried up like a prune," he would still never appear on the show, dismissing the suggestion as "idiotic".
When asked whether Prince William could one day take part, Ant's tongue-in-cheek response was simply: "Shut up! Go to bed."
The duo has been outspoken about wanting a rest from politicians in the jungle. Following contentious appearances from the likes of Matt Hancock and Nigel Farage, Dec declared in 2023: "I think we do a year without any politicians," a view Ant wholeheartedly shared.
The pair voiced their wish for a "normal" series free from the political wrangling that so often dominates life in the camp.
While not an outright "ban," there has been a long-standing and well-documented friction between the hosts and Kelly Brook, which came back to the surface during the 2025 series when she entered the jungle as a contestant.
The "beef" stretches back to 2009, when Brook was briefly brought on as a fourth judge on Britain's Got Talent. Ant and Dec were reportedly "annoyed" they weren't consulted and felt she didn't fit the show's format.
The hosts have regularly teased Piers Morgan about taking part, yet he has consistently "banned" himself. Ant and Dec have joked that he'll eventually do it because he "needs a job," while Morgan insists no amount of money could get him to "munch kangaroo testicles".
