HE'S used to being less than faithful with the truth -- and comedy star David Mitchell is now being lined up for The Celebrity Traitors.
The Would I Lie To You? panellist, 51, has been approached by BBC bosses keen to get him on the next series.
A source said: "Producers think David would be a amazing as a contestant.
"Not only is he hilarious but he's also super smart -- in many ways he will remind viewers of Stephen Fry, who went down great with viewers in series one.
"No doubt David's time on Would I Lie To You? will be both helpful and a hindrance when it comes to being at the round table."
Filming for series two of the hit reality spin-off starts in the Scottish Highlands in May.
Claudia Winkleman, 54, will again host the show at 19th century Ardross Castle.
The Sun previously reported that former EastEnders actor Danny Dyer is also talks to take part.

It was a massive success for the BBC, with 15 million viewers for the final and an average of 14.8 million watching every episode.
