Love Island star Georgia Steel has announced her engagement to a newly promoted Premier League footballer after he popped the question. The 28-year-old first appeared on Love Island in 2018, in the fourth series of the ITV reality series.
She took part in the same season as the likes of Dani Dyer, Megan Barton-Hanson, Adam Collard and Zara McDermott. Lasting 43 days in the villa before being eliminated, Georgia was mainly paired with Sam Bird. In 2024 she appeared on Love Island: All Stars, where she was coupled up with Toby Aromolaran.

However, she and the footballer decided to go their separate ways just one month after the show ended. Since then, Georgia has been seen on programmes such as Celebs on the Ranch, Celebs Go Dating, Celebrity Coach Trip and Ex on the Beach: Peak of Love.
One year after her split with Toby, Georgia was linked with footballer Harry Clarke. The pair confirmed their romance on Instagram in spring 2025 after months of speculation.
Harry, who recently completed a season on loan to Charlton Athletic, joined Ipswich Town for an undisclosed fee from Arsenal in January 2023. The 25-year-old right-back has played over 60 times for the Tractor Boys, who secured their promotion back to Premier League this season after finishing second in the Championship.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday (May 24), Georgia was delighted to announce that they are now engaged. Sharing a video to her 1.6 million followers, Harry got down one one knee on the beach at sunset.
Georgia, who was wearing a gorgeous blue dress for the occasion, was seen covering her face in shock when she realised what was happening. First sharing a hug, the sealed their milestone moment with a kiss.
She captioned her post: "A million times yes! In this lifetime and the next. I still can't believe we get to do forever together. You're everything I dreamed of and more, my person."
The comments section of Georgia's post saw a host of her fellow Love Island alum rushing to congratulate her on the big news and to wish her and Harry the best of luck looking ahead to their wedding planning.
