Mel B will be taking part in a new celebrity version of the Squid Game reality experience.
Titled 'The VIP Challenge', eight celebrities will be put to the ultimate test in this 'deeply unpredictable and diabolical' competition.
The other VIPs include real estate mogul Ryan Serhant, former NBA player Tristan Thompson, content creator Kristy Sarah, Kim Zolciak of the Real Housewives of Atlanta and Bachelor Nation's Hannah Godwin and Dylan Efron, who recently competed on the US version of The Traitors.
The new show will also include Viper, who won the second season of the Squid Game Reality Experience and was selected by fans to return to the competition as the winner of the Second Chance Fan Vote.
However, the inclusion of Spice Girls icon Mel B has, quite frankly, sent fans into a meltdown on social media.
Reacting to the news, Robert said that they 'cannot wait to see' the pop icon in action.
JD also wrote that the only reason they would tune in is to 'watch Mel B tbh'.
Meanwhile, Anya exclaimed: 'MEL B???? WHAT ARE U DOING HERE'
However, not all Netflix fans seemed to be as equally pleased with the show's announcement.
Commenting beneath Netflix's trailer for the series, Shaq quipped: 'It's almost as if the entire concept went over everyone's heads...'
Several other people questioned whether the lineup was actually weak, as Ashleigh joked: 'I see we're using the term celebrity loosely.'
Chip echoed this by saying: 'Mel B is the only celeb here lol.'
Some also claimed that the Netflix series was attempting to copy the celebrity version of The Traitors, following its success in both the US and UK.
Based on the Korean drama, which sees 456 players in financial hardship risk their lives in a series of children's games to win a cash prize, this new challenge will be hoping to emulate the success of Netflix's most popular show ever.
The VIP Challenge will also see players face elimination at every turn, with only one person reigning victorious.
Mel B's inclusion in this series comes after she tied the knot with her long-term partner, Rory McPhee, in Marrakesh late last year.
The pop legend shared photos on her social media from the special day just a month after tying the knot at St Paul's Cathedral in a London ceremony.
Squid Game: The VIP Challenge is coming to Netflix.
