The Naismith Hall of Fame St. John's coach extended an open invitation to the pop star following his record-setting halftime show at the Super Bowl.
"As someone who spent time in Puerto Rico as their National Coach, watching Bad Bunny at halftime was awesome," Pitino posted on X/Twitter. "@sanbenito you have a seat on the Johnnies bench anytime. Viva Puerto Rico!"
No. 22 St. John's has been drawing celebrities and big crowds to Madison Square Garden, where they won their ninth straight Friday night over No. 3 UConn.
Bad Bunny's halftime show, which also featured surprise appearances by Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin, drew a record 135.4 million viewers.
The alternative halftime show from Turning Point USA featuring Kid Rock drew 5.7 million viewers.
Pitino, meantime, is bidding to win his 904th on-court Division 1 game on Monday night against his son Richard and Xavier, but said Richard will do "everything humanly possible" to stop him.
